HEALTH MINISTER TO UPGRADE KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PROGRAMME

The Honourable Minister of State for Health, Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong has pledged to upgrade Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Renal Transplant Programme by equipping the Hospital with all the facilities needed in an excellent renal centre.

The Minister made the pledge during his familiarization tour to the Hospital. He also called for staff change of attitude by discharging their duties with keen interest and seriousness. Dr. Aliyu cautioned the staff to desist from being pompous in the discharge of their duties but to be kind and gentle.

The Minister was conducted round the Hospital by the Chief Medical Director, the new Board Chairman and some top Management Staff.
