The Radiology department of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital is a specialised Medical Imaging Center which serves as a center for learning, research and provision of qualitative clinical services in the field of radiology.

o Conventional Radiography
o Contrast Radiographic Studies
o Computed Tomography
o Ultrasonography
o Mammography
o Angiograth

Other duties provided are: Training and Research, such as Training of resident doctors, medical students on elective posting, Intern Radiographers etc

It is equipped with modern imaging facilities such as computerized tomography, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, advanced ultrasound scanners (with 3D and Doppler facilities) and conventional radiography.
